U.S. Avoidable Deaths Are Rising, And What Vironix is Doing About It

🚨 U.S. Avoidable Deaths Are Rising 🚨

A new study in JAMA Internal Medicine reveals a troubling trend: Between 2009 and 2019, avoidable deaths in the U.S. increased by 33 per 100,000, while other high-income countries, including the European Union, reduced avoidable deaths by 24 per 100,000.

Despite spending more on healthcare than any other high-income country, the U.S. continues to face systemic barriers to preventing deaths. This underscores the urgent need for policy changes, particularly in areas like healthy food access and motor vehicle safety.

At Vironix Health, we’re doing our part to address this by using AI-driven remote monitoring to prevent conditions like hypertension, a leading cause of heart disease, stroke, and other avoidable deaths.

In just 20 days, our platform has shown significant reductions in systolic blood pressure, with improvements that help prevent serious health complications. We’ve also seen notable decreases in health escalations, ER visits, and hospital admissions.

This marks the fifth time Vironix has demonstrated clear clinical efficacy - and we’re just getting started.

As our patient population grows, so does our technology’s ability to improve chronic care management, patient engagement, and clinical efficiency, ultimately helping to reduce the rising rates of avoidable deaths across the U.S.
